New year, new premises

Southern Scientific recently moved from our Lancing offices, where we had been based since 1997, to a new factory and office complex in Henfield, West Sussex.

The move follows the purchase of Southern Scientific by LabLogic Systems, the Sheffield-based LIMS, chromatography and nuclear medicine data systems speciality, in September 2011.

"We have purchased rather than leased this new facility which is a clear indication of the level of commitment made by LabLogic to Southern Scientific. The move is the ideal environment for us to grow our distribution business while expanding our research, development and manufacturing capability that is required to meet our future expansion plans."
