Domestic radon exposure of employees
In radon affected areas employees who are now working at home due to the new national COVID-19 restrictions could be receiving significant radon exposure at home. Employers are strongly encouraged to recommend home testing to their employees who live in a radon affected area. This interactive map on the Public Health England website shows what areas are affected.
How to test for radon at home
You can receive results in just two hours with the AlphaE radon monitor. The alphaE is an active detector giving quick results of your radon levels. Passive detectors are usually used when a longer measurement is required to assess annual radon levels.
