Generate real-time BL kinetic curves and identify plateau-phase BL data

Spectral Instruments Imaging has released Kinetics, the newest feature in their Aura software for in vivo imaging, which provides the Kino, Ami HT, and Lago optical imaging systems with the ability to automatically acquire real-time BL kinetic curve data, presenting it in both live-graph and summary table formats.  These capabilities will enable investigators to readily identify both the timeframe and value of peak plateau-phase BL kinetics for any given BL mouse model in an easy, automated fashion.

Comprehensive data summary and signal plateau analysis

The Kinetics feature provides access to the camera settings used in all acquired images.  Therefore, investigators can predictively use both the plateau-phase timing and camera setting values, acquired in a small pilot study, to a later, full-scale study, and so acquire optimal BL data easily and efficiently in this large experiment setting.

You can watch Spectral Instruments Imaging’s webinar about Kinetics above. Key topics include:

> Why quantifying data captured at peak signal is critical to ensuring data accuracy and reproducibility.

> How Kinetics automatically acquires BL kinetic curve data in real time, and how it enables the immediate identification of peak signal.

> A review of data from several animal oncology models including the distinct types of BL kinetic curve profiles across various models and the occurrence of changing peak BL data onset times throughout a longitudinal study.
