Reducing finger dose exposure
Amercare’s ADD provides hands-free preparation and dispensation of radiopharmaceuticals. Suitable for use in hot cells or radiopharmacies, it is a benchtop solution that can be placed under laminar flow hoods or within safety cabinets. It can be used to fill a fresh syringe, top up an already filled one, or dispense into vials in multiple aliquots.
Designed specifically for high-activity 511 keV isotopes such as 18F, it eliminates the strain and effort of manually handling heavy syringes and vial shields. This significantly reduces the risk of finger dose exposure which is critical for those designated as classified workers under Schedule 3 of IRR17.

Compatible with a wide range of syringe sizes (up to 10 ml) and vial shields (up to 30 ml), it can be customized with vial adaptors to meet specific requirements.
Simply select the syringe type, place it into the tungsten shield, enter the required volume on the touchscreen pad, and the ADD automates the rest: loading and dispensing is typically done in less than 45 seconds.
