Southern Scientific can manage the whole process, drawing upon our combined experience to ensure your new equipment is installed quickly and easily.

Hardware Installations

Southern Scientific engineers are fully trained by the original equipment manufacturers to ensure the best possible service is provided. A typical hardware installation would include a consultation to assess and properly plan the installation in advance, followed by a site visit if required. On installation day, the service engineer attends to fully install and configure all equipment as well as perform initial commissioning checks. Initial familiarisation training can also be provided.

Software Installations

Installations can range from a single standalone desktop to an internal computer with built-in software that is as an integral part of the equipment. Southern Scientific works alongside a range of stakeholders from end users to IT departments, but for sites that have specific IT security needs, please contact us ahead of time to ensure a smooth installation.

How do I arrange my installation?

Southern Scientific will contact you once your instrument has been shipped to let you know that it is on its way and installation can be arranged.

What paperwork will I receive following the installation?

A service report is provided that details the work undertaken. This is digitally signed by the Service Engineer and the customer and then emailed to you as a PDF.
