One-off repair, service contracts, and preventative maintenance

An annual preventative maintenance (PM) visit is the best way to keep your equipment running smoothly, according to specifications and in compliance with applicable regulations.

We can provide a PM service on all of our installed equipment as well as many third-party systems that we supply. A full report of the maintenance is provided for your records.

If an instrument is covered under a service contract, we will proactively schedule PM visits. Comprehensive service records are also maintained by Southern Scientific, allowing us to improve our service through continuous development and feedback any issues to the original equipment manufacturer.

If you have a problem or fault with your instrument, our engineers will diagnose and repair the fault. Our head office is fully equipped to repair, service, and calibrate instruments by our qualified personnel. On rare occasions, we may need to return instruments to the original manufacturer, however we aim to perform repairs locally whenever possible.

If you are on a service contract, there’s no need to worry – it’s all included.

Our all-inclusive service contracts offer ultimate peace of mind. We proactively schedule preventative maintenance (PM) visits and will take care of all repairs at no additional cost.
