Reduce background radiation more than 10 times with the Environmental Shield.
Fitting any Capintec CRC Dose Calibrator with a remote ionisation chamber, the shields consists of 9 interlocking lead rings that surround the chamber.
Uniform wall thickness (4 cm / 1.5” standard) also reduces radiation exposure during calibration. The lead contains 3% antimony for added strength.
