ShortLINK / SkyLINK systems allow the transmission of measured data via radio/wireless transmission. As part of a proxy radiological monitoring network, these units can transmit measurement data from autonomous probes (such as GammaTRACER probes), across a distance of up to 100 km to a remote supervision system, running data visualisation and processing software. The flexibility of the set-up allows a surveillance system to be deployed in very little time, especially useful in the incident of an emergency situation.
Other Applications
- Mobile SkyLINK system spreadable in 15 minutes (used in emergency situations).
- Use of the network as a telemetric platform for the transmission/reception of weather, hydrological, seismological etc. data.
- Low installation cost: Wireless communication network / autonomous probes.
- Adjustable frequency in the free frequency band.
- System range: Up to 100 km (on flat ground) for the SkyLINK system.
- Network realibility: Private network / no network saturation in case of accident, in opposition to the GSM.
